What are you looking to get out of this internship?
In this internship, I am looking to learn more about safety in the construction industry. Before I started, I knew there were a lot of rules set by OSHA, but I had no idea about the extent of their seriousness and importance until I began working. I am eager to meet new people and learn various aspects, from machinery operation to concrete pouring.
What goals do you have within the construction industry?
My goal is to attend operators’ school and become a skilled operator. Ever since I had the opportunity to operate a machine a few months ago, that’s all I’ve been passionate about.
What has been the best experience in the Build U Internship Program so far?
The best experience in this internship so far was the opportunity to operate three different machines, including two excavators and a crane, at the operators’ engineering school.
