Ideal Contracting Adds Renowned Industry Veteran to Business Development Team
DETROIT, MI – Ideal Contracting, a Detroit-based general contractor with nationally recognized steel erection capabilities, recently made a powerful addition to its team.
Kevin Hilton has joined the company in the position of Business Development Manager, where he will play an instrumental role in Ideal Contracting’s continued growth and geographical expansion across the United States.
Hilton, a well-known veteran of the construction industry, has a resume that speaks for itself. He’s served as the Senior Vice President for The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) and the National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee (NMAPC), where he collaborated with major stakeholders from across the industry. In addition to his twelve years at TAUC and NMAPC, Hilton has also served as the CEO of the Ironworker Management Progressive Action Cooperative Trust (IMPACT).
Hilton’s career has brought him close together with leaders from every corner of the industry, such as leadership of countless international trade unions and building trades councils, the principal officers within the contractor community, and the leadership of the industrial and manufacturing sectors within the country.

Hilton holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor as well as a Master of Science in Industrial Relations from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He is a dedicated member of the Board of Directors for the National Building Museum, the ACE Mentor Program, and the National Alliance for Fair Contracting.
