This week in the office I began working on take-off for the Milk River Intercounty Drain job. I went through the blueprints and highlighted everything so when we went into the take off program on-screen it would be easier just to refer back to the drawings. the main components that I was taking off for this job were miscellaneous metal and a waste water treatment plant. The site visit to the GM plant in Fort Wayne was a great time and we all learned a lot about what goes into a large scale job like that. the most interesting part I thought was watching the concrete pour and the different tools and machines that are utilized to complete the process.
