Good morning everyone,
This week started out with the Build U interns taking a trip to the Michigan Laborers’ Training and Apprenticeship Institute in Perry, MI. While there we were able to tour the training facilities and get classes on PPE, silica, and concrete. It was a great learning experience and we all enjoyed it very much. I want to thank everyone who made it happen and all of the staff that took the time to share their knowledge with us. I have attached a few pictures from our visit.
I did not work on Wednesday due to Independence Day, but for the rest of the week, I have been at the WTC which is currently on its July 4th shutdown. It has been an unusual week here, from the entry gate and road closures to the number of workers on site. It has been great to see how much planning and coordination goes into making an event like this happen.
Thank you, I hope everyone has a great weekend.
Sincerely,
Jacob Rhodes
