Week 6- P. GPS PDPM- Sabella Ammiano

Good morning everyone, week six has been a really good week. Yesterday all the interns went to the operators training site for a visit and we all got to operate an excavator! There site was really cool and unique, since they have lots of land and machines to help train people on.  It was nice to see everything they do there and how passionate they are about helping people learn as well as being safe in what they do.  It’s also great to see the bond they have with the contractors that loan out their equipment in the winter so they can train more people. In this industry, it’s important for all of us to work together and have those types of bonds. I just like to say that operating an excavator was probably one of the coolest things I’ve done and definitely an experience I will never forget! Thank you to everyone who helped set this up!
This week at Pontiac it has been pretty busy; we got a couple new jobs in this week so we have been doing walkthroughs and have a lot of estimating work that needs to be finalized. Overall, everything is going really good and I’m happy that I’m starting to get the hang of the PDPM process over here. Everyone have a great Friday!
