Week 5 – GM GTC – Lindsay Kowalewski

Happy Friday everyone!
This week I spent my time at the GM GTC and Pontiac PDPM sites. I got o conduct inspections on both fall protection harnesses and SRLs. I helped develop an FMEA for overhead door install in the climatic wind tunnel which included tasks such as site safety, barricading, general housekeeping, and general assistance to subcontractor. I also assisted in developing a crane lift plan for the asset sustainment project at the GM GTC. Over at Pontiac I worked with Pat Potochick and got to see how the PDPDM side of Ideal operates. I visited all of the Pontiac sites and got to sit in on a meeting regarding a new project that is starting over at MFD.
