WEEK 3 & 4 – GM GTC – COURTNEY ILER

Good Morning!
Things have been pretty slow these past few weeks. We had a 2 week project start up as a phase 2 to a monoxivent installation at the GM GTC Garage. We installed an exhaust fan and duct to the previous phase 1 hose reels. With the start up of any project comes a submittal log. I have been working with Lauren Deverna, Project Engineer, on developing a submittal log and close-out documents for this project. My week has been full of Spec book reading and analyzing.
I’ve also been working with Lindsay Kowalewski, Safety Intern, on developing GoCanvas apps for the safety department. We are trying to go GREEN. GoCanvas is a mobile application that allows you to digitize any form into an application setting. It then will output the information into a PDF format that you can email out directly from the app to your project team.
