On July 13th all of the interns met at the main office to begin our community project, which takes place as Scarcyny Park behind Building C. We all took a walk through the park to begin our plan for the pavilion that will be built. We developed a plan of who will be working together and what tasks everyone will be assigned. This week at WTC I was at Asset Sustainment and walked an excavation project with Brian. At Pontiac I visited MFD, GPS, and CCA to walk all of our sites and ensure all PTPs are in place and the work is being done safely. At MFD there is a huge roofing project where they are using a new spray method that is both environmental and human friendly. The workers do not have to wear respirators.
