Hello Everyone,
I am very excited to join the Build U team for the summer. I started on May 7th, so this is going on my third week as a safety intern. I have learned an abundance of new information every single day, both in the office and out on the sites. I have been working out at the GM WTC with Brian Polakowsi on the Asset Sustainment project. I also got to work with Courtney Iler my first week out at the Milford Proving Grounds (MPG) to learn more on the safety administration side of things.
On May 16th all of the interns had orientation, and we also got to enjoy a Tigers game in the company suite. It was nice to be able to get together with everyone outside of work to get to know them a little better. Thank you to Ideal for that great outing.
I am really looking forward to this summer with Ideal. I know I will take away a lot of new information that will be beneficial to my career as a safety professional. I hope everyone has a great summer!
