As part of our commitment to keeping our employees, clients, subcontractors, and the communities we work in safe, we’ve adopted a ‘safety first’ culture. We encourage all employees to speak up and stop work if they see unsafe practices.
Our staff of full-time safety professionals spend time in the field observing and coaching daily. Through our Safety Observation Process, a behavioral based program, we are able to take a preventative approach to safety and eliminate incidents before they occur.
WE NEED SAFETY TO BRING YOU HOME BECAUSE...
We initiated a safety campaign to engage employees' families and implemented it on every Ideal Contracting work site. This program reinforces our safe working practices and how it impacts others, especially family members.
This year our campaign aligned with our new safety slogan - Safety Brings Us Home. We asked employees' families to show the importance of their family members coming home safe every day through an illustration or video. Below are some of our submissions.
