Project Overview

Ideal Contracting was awarded four individual bid packages which consisted of the site work, foundations, steel fabrication, and installation of a new loading rack and process unit to load Liquid Propane Gas (LPG) into rail cars.

Our team completed the steel fabrication, which required the factory installation of an intumescent fireproofing coating. Ideal Contracting self-performed site work, concrete forming, placement and finishing, and structural steel installation, along with the installation of owner-provided specialty equipment. Ideal worked hand in hand with MEP’s to accelerate portions of the work to meet the owner’s aggressive schedule. The project was completed on time with zero recordable incidents.

Project Highlights

  • 12,000 CY of contaminated soil removed
  • 11,200 CY of material replaced
