Project Overview

Located on Fort Street in Detroit’s Delray neighborhood, Luxwall constructed a new 275,500 square-foot manufacturing facility, with Bedrock serving as the developer and landlord. Ideal Contracting was proud to partner with Oliver Hatcher Construction as the steel trade contractor on this new and exciting project.

During the project, our team encountered an unexpected field condition that required immediate attention and creative problem-solving. Ideal Contracting’s steel crew quickly mobilized additional resources, including several highly skilled welders, to address the challenge. Our raising gang foreman played a pivotal role in maintaining momentum, stepping up to lead efforts and keep the project on track.

Thanks to the dedication and expertise of our team, the project was completed without any delays, despite the added scope. It’s a testament to the resilience and problem-solving capabilities of Ideal Contracting’s field leadership and crews.
