Project Overview:

The OU Oakland Center Expansion and Renovation is a 60,000-square-foot addition to the Oakland Center Student Union in the heart of the OU Campus. The project and its centralized location presented several unique challenges to the Ideal team. Deliveries had to be carefully planned and coordinated to best make use of limited space and maximize efficiency to meet a very aggressive schedule. The existing Oakland Center remained in operation throughout construction and all aspects of the erection activities had to be organized to minimize disruption of the daily schedules of the 20,000 students on campus.
