Project Overview:

In August 2015, Ideal Contracting began work on the Holland Energy Park project.  The scope of work included the erection of 1,500 tons of structural and miscellaneous steel along with 45 pieces of precast concrete for the new 150,000-square-foot building.

The building utilizes two combustion turbine generators (CTGs), each exhausting to a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) that produced steam for a single steam turbine generator (STG). The facility aimed to generate 125 Mega Watts.

This park received the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructures (ISI) Envision® Platinum award recognizing the sustainability of public infrastructure. They are the first-in-the-country baseload power generating plant to receive an Envision rating and Ideal is happy to be a contributor to their success (ASCE News).
