Ideal Contracting’s Build U interns were recently tasked with getting their hands dirty in Scarcyny Park to beautify the area. While working alongside Detroit Cristo Rey interns and several GM volunteers, they repaired and painted the fencing, spread mulch, pulled and sprayed weeds, hung up a swing, trimmed the bushes, and replaced picnic table boards. Everybody worked in teams to complete the tasks and then were subsequently treated to a lunch! The hard work was greatly appreciated as the park is now in great shape for the Summer – Fall seasons!
