Pillars of Ideal: Noah Lerchen (C.T.E. Intern)

The first edition of Pillars of Ideal covers the pathway of Noah Lerchen, a recent graduate of Chippewa Valley High School. Noah was enrolled in a Career Technical Education (C.T.E.) program through school, which ultimately exposed him to the construction trades and the opportunities within the industry.

Ideal Contracting and Chippewa Valley High School are actively partnering with each other to provide students like Noah with first-hand construction experience as they go through their C.T.E. program. Noah came onto an Ideal Contracting construction site for a couple of hours every day to engage with our team members and learn about the different aspects of construction, from reading blueprints to actually performing work on-site. Through this hands-on and personal experience, Noah learned a considerable amount that he wouldn’t have in the typical classroom setting.

Noah is an excellent example of the power of collaboration between construction companies and high school C.T.E. programs. This experience helped Noah determine if a career in construction was right for him before graduating high school. Today, Noah is enrolled in a carpenter apprenticeship program and ready to begin his professional career.
