What are you looking to get out of this internship?
With this internship, I am really looking to get a better understanding on the management side of things. Meaning I would like to learn more about getting organized with different subcontractors and the entire project as a whole. Also, I would like to be able to gain a full-time job after this summer.
What goals do you have within the construction industry?
Some of the goals I have within the construction industry are to get a job and move as high up in the company as possible. I would like to be able to work on multiple types of projects so I can get a better understanding on the differences between each job.
What has been the best experience in the Build U Internship Program so far?
Some of my best experiences in the Build U Internship Program so far are getting to know everyone that I am working alongside as well as everyone in the Build U program. I’ve also enjoyed going to the internship outings and being able to tour all the different union training facilities.
