What are you looking to get out of this internship?
Last summer, I spent most of my time estimating. This summer, I’m taking on a project engineer intern role. I would like to gain as much experience as a project engineer and expand my knowledge of the industry.
What goals do you have within the construction industry?
My current goal is to become a project manager. I want to help make the industry more diverse, green, and create safer work environments.
What has been the best experience in the Build U Internship Program so far?
Getting the opportunity to work on an out-of-state project has been the best experience so far. I’m on-site every day, and I enjoy seeing the progress of the Rivian expansion project. It’s been a great experience so far, and I would consider taking on another out-of-state project in the near future.
