The Bluewater Gas Storage project includes a new compressor designed to increase Bluewater’s operating pressure.
Ideal Contracting is self-performing the excavation and concrete work for this project. The scope includes earthwork, fencing, laydown areas, concrete foundations, landscaping, and soil erosion control measures. Approximately 3,000 cubic yards of earth will be excavated and 1,000 cubic yards of concrete placed for the foundations, 25,000 cubic yards of fill material will be imported to construct on-site building pads and berms, and 3,500 linear feet will be excavated and backfilled for underground electrical.
The project commenced in August of 2020 and will be completed in June of 2021.
