Starting the New Year, Ideal Contracting is starting with a new EMR rate. EMR is a safety rating that stands for experience modification rate. It has a strong impact upon a business. The rating starts at 1.00 and is lowered after a business has been established for four years. It’s a number used by insurance companies to gauge both past cost of injuries and future chances of risk. An EMR of 1.00 is considered the industry average.
From 2014-2015, the EMR rate for Ideal Contracting was 0.58. Starting in 2016, the new EMR safety rate will be 0.49, which is an exceptional rating. Congratulations to Ideal Contracting for continuing to always make safety their number one priority!
