For Sheila Gorski, Director of Human Resources at Ideal Contracting, it’s all about building meaningful connections and creating a workplace where people feel heard, valued, and supported.

Inspired by watching her mom lead with empathy, Sheila learned early on the power of listening and the impact one person can have on many. Over her time at Ideal, her leadership has been instrumental in shaping and strengthening the family-first culture we’re proud of today.

4 Years with Ideal Contracting

Sheila Gorski is Ideal Contracting’s Director of Human Resources, responsible for the strategic leadership of the human resources department, including the development and implementation of HR policies and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Sheila has an accomplished educational background, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Wayne State University, completing coursework at Wayne State’s Law School, and earning a Master of Science in Human Resources Management. She also completed the Building a Successful Business Program at the Dartmouth Tuck School of Business. Sheila remains active in her community, serving on the Taylor Community Library Board. She also participates in the AGC of Michigan HR Exchange and mentors students at Cristo Rey High School.
