Pillars of Ideal: Josh Smith

Josh Smith, Director of Safety at Ideal Contracting, plays a key role in keeping our teams safe across Michigan and beyond. His journey to construction leadership began on the baseball field, where he developed the discipline, teamwork, and leadership that now define his professional career.

Much like baseball, construction demands full-team collaboration, an environment where Josh thrives. The skills he honed from college athletics to professional life have made a lasting impact on our projects and culture. We’re proud to have Josh on our team and honored to highlight him as a Pillar of Ideal.
