Pillars of Ideal: Jason Miller

Who are you when you’re not at work?

For Superintendent Jason Miller, the answer is simple: he’s operating his family’s cow farm of 49 years.

A longtime member of Ideal Contracting, Jason is widely known as someone you can rely on when it matters most — and he finds that same sense of grounding on the farm. As he puts it, “Sometimes I need the cows more than they need me.”

Pillars of Ideal gives us the opportunity to see who our people are beyond their work. For Jason, that means the peace, purpose, and joy he’s found in farming ever since he was a child.
