Pillars of Ideal: Christian Perales

Christian Perales’ journey with Ideal began long before he became a Project Engineer. As a student at Detroit Cristo Rey, Christian joined the school’s work-study program with the Ideal Group, gaining valuable experience, mentorship, and exposure to different businesses while growing up in Southwest Detroit.

After earning his degree from Dartmouth College, Christian returned to the community that helped shape him and joined Ideal Contracting full-time. Today, he plays an important role on our project teams while dedicating his time to mentoring students and supporting programs that create opportunities for the next generation.

Christian’s story is a powerful example of what can happen when talent, hard work, and community support come together. We’re proud to celebrate his accomplishments and the impact he continues to make both within our organization and throughout Southwest Detroit.
