Rich Brown has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Ideal Contracting. He will now oversee the daily operations of Ideal’s Construction Group and Steel Group. Additionally, Brown will be responsible for Ideal Contracting’s estimating, marketing & business development, and safety departments.
The Construction Group consists of Ideal Contracting’s self-performing general contracting operations that deliver projects by utilizing a wide range of services and delivery methods.
Ideal Contracting’s Steel Group is an AISC-certified steel erector with extensive steel erection and fabrication capabilities to support projects across the country.
Brown, who previously served as Vice President of Operations, has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. As Ideal Contracting continues to grow, so do Brown’s responsibilities within the company, a testament to his dedicated leadership. He currently serves as the Great Lakes District Council Contractor Co-Chair for IMPACT (Ironworkers Management Progressive Action Cooperative Trust).
Tom Braden has been promoted to Director of Special Projects Group. In his new role, Braden will be responsible for all operations within Ideal’s Special Projects Group, including safety, estimating, and business development.
The Special Projects Group employs its proven method of integrating its management and delivery team with a client’s facilities management to streamline the delivery of small maintenance and construction projects.
Braden has been with Ideal Contracting for over 15 years. He began as Ideal’s Yard Manager and has since moved into several different positions in the company. Now, Braden will continue his positive impact by taking on this exciting new role.
