For the majority of my first week I spent my time taking care of my orientations. Wednesday I was reluctant enough to meet the rest of my fellow interns and their mentors. We spent our day going over our intern manual and then we kicked back at Punchbowl Social. on Thursday I finished my safety courses and spent the rest of the day attending meetings and walking jobs with my mentor Gus. On Friday, I visited a couple ongoing projects and met some of the people Gus has to work with. Afterwards, Gus and I went to Barton Malow’s yard and office down in Oak Park.
