National Hispanic Heritage Month is held each year from September 15th to October 15th to commemorate the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
This celebratory month is especially important to Ideal Contracting as we are a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and self-performing general contractor headquartered in Southwest Detroit, Michigan. The vision for Ideal Contracting, as well as the seven other companies under Ideal Group, was created by our Founder, Chairman, and CEO, Frank Venegas. As the son of two Mexican immigrants, Frank has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and an eagerness to build innovative solutions; traits that have and continue to spread throughout the Ideal Contracting organization. Over time, that eagerness has transformed Ideal Contracting into one of the largest general contractors in Michigan and the largest MBE employer of ironworkers in the United States. The Ideal Group of companies stands today as a second-generation business that employs over 500 employees.
